Overview

The Tropikordia Foundation grant program supports individual projects that promote string playing and the use of acoustic string instruments in innovative ways. Each grant is usually funded with $2500. Grant applications may only be made online at the Tropikordia Foundation website. Each grant application's project document is reviewed and scored by a team of prominent string performers and teachers. Applicants' contact information and resumé are not made available to the review team. The review team's evaluations are presented to the Board of Directors who make all final grant decisions.
